SCHEDULE

August 2017 - March 2018

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

The Basketball Coach under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and Basketball Coordinator, is responsible for facilitating basketball practices, recruiting and coaching select basketball players, and being a positive role model to the youth.  It should be recognized that the Basketball Coach will be required to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis. It should also be recognized that this job description may change, based on the needs of the agency. 

Applicant must have a clean background and experience working with children. Applicant must also be self-driven and hungry to grow!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The person should be able to relate well to children and adults. This job requires hands-on interaction. The person in this position should have good teaching skills and be able to actually participate in the activities of the younger children. This person should be able to relate effectively to a wide variety of individuals.  Must understand the mission of the Jewish Community Center and the Jewish and Non-Jewish Community it serves.
  • Experienced and Demonstrated coaching abilities
