Human Resources Coordinator

Koley Jessen P.C., L.L.O., is a dynamic law firm powered by dynamic people.  The Firm is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator, whom under the direction of the Director of Talent and Culture, has responsibility to provide administrative support for the day-to-day Human Resources operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting positions, coordinating career fair participation, scheduling interviews, sending offer letters, and facilitating background checks.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and assist with orientation.  Coordinate collection and processing of required documents for new hire and employment records with excellent efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Assist with coordination of recognition awards and events for the organization.
  • Maintain employee records; ensure information in personnel files is accurate and current via audits.
  • Coordinate intranet updates for new employees, Firm events, recognition, etc

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field, and one year experience in HR or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to keep information in strict confidence required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional, constructive and courteous manner; to be patient under frustrating circumstances and demonstrate controlled emotional affect in difficult situations; to engage in effective interpersonal interaction.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficient or advanced computer skills with the following software: Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.  Experience with Taleo and Paylocity a plus.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while remaining flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests.
