Senior Software Engineer/Architect/Analyst will be a part of a development team that provides software solutions for the behavioral healthcare industry with a primary focus on cloud based technology applications within a .NET framework environment. The engineer will contribute to the team’s efforts via participation in all aspects of the software development Lifecyle, including software design, programming, application installation/configuration, server configuration and maintenance, and troubleshooting for advanced issues. As a member of the development team, you will assist and support the development of flexible web applications that support the ever-changing needs of the behavioral healthcare industry. This individual will also need to have good communication skills and occasionally be a liaison between the Subject Matter Experts and programming staff. The SSE will provide process support for achieving successful product implementations of application as well. This role may include some data modeling, writing technical requirements, and some coding/implementation. Must be able to code at a Senior level! Skills and Experience:

  • Analyze existing information system to determine current state of meeting external data system specifications.
  • Identify requirements and create design specifications for program features and enhancements.
  • Develop and propose code changes for the system.
  • Implement system changes as laid out in the approved design.
  • Develop, test, and implement code based on requirements and specifications.
  • Create and execute test cases for both new and existing code modules.
  • Ability to analyze technical process and workflows
  • Knowledge of best practices is software development cycle.
  • Knowledge and experience with waterfall and agile development practices.
  • Demonstrated success at working collaboratively with development teams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and resolution skills
  • Some understanding and experience with the transfer of data from various data sources, such as Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, Flat Files, CSV and unstructured scientific files.
  • Maintain database performance for internal and external applications by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.

Education/Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related disciplines is a MUST and REQUIRED!
  • 4+ years of experience supporting software environments and their data architecture and data management requirements.
  • Experience in Healthcare information technology is preferred.
  • Experience with ASP.NET (C#/BV; including MVC, Web Forms, Web Services) JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining SQL Server infrastructures on multiple versions of SQL Server.
