This is the job that I want! If I could go back 10 years, I would be doing this job today. Midwest Cloud Computing is at it again. We are looking for Senior Software Security Engineer. If you are adept at Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET, SQL-SVR, etc.) and you know how to create code that is secure and solid based on MSDN Secure Coding Guidelines, you need to check this job out.
•Assist with the creation of programs / functionality to satisfy user requests.
•Ability to work with multiple hardware and software platforms.
•Work with team members to protect code from reverse engineering
•Collaboration with other developers to review others code and ensure accuracy, maintainability, and secure standard code.
•Verify functionality of completed work prior to moving into testing / quality assurance.
•Develop test data and test plans including documentation in project / incident tracking system to provide direction for verification of functionality.
•Work with other team members to share coding techniques that ensure security standards are met.
•Understand and provide guidance on library code that exposes protected resources.
•Coordinate with and assist IT / Security / Customer Support / Management / Sales as needed.
•Assist with automated scripting and quality assurance as needed.
•Ability to research and respond to customer questions received via telephone and email as needed.
•Continued Learning in development technologies, banking / finance and all other products.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Bachelor's Degree in computer science, MIS or the equivalent
•7-10 years application development / MS SQL experience
Will consider an equivalent combination of educational experience as a substitute for work experience
•Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C# and SQL preferred
•Experience implementing / managing Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Team Foundation Server preferred
•A demonstrated ability associated with MSDN secure coding practices and guidelines required
