PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbent works under the direction of the assigned supervisor, or designee, providing Public Health Nursing (PHN) services in a variety of community, office, and clinic locations in strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Nursing required. Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nebraska required at time of hire and maintained throughout employment. Must possess a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation at the time of hire and maintained throughout employment. Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred. Experience in Public Health, nurse case management, and communicable disease control preferred. Experience/training in utilizing specialty software (e.g.MS Word, database, statistical and graphics) desired. Completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and post-offer drug screen required.
