PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbent works under the direction of a Bureau Captain or designee, developing processes and performing clerical and administrative support processes for the efficient operation of the Sheriff's Department in strict adherence to established department procedures and statutory regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years* of clerical experience. Must type twenty-five (25) net words per minute. Completion of a pre-employment security clearance check. Must complete all job related training and certification, as required by state and federal statutes and department procedures within the first six months of employment. *Approved education/training beyond high school may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.
