PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Coordinator, Food Service Operations or designee the incumbent performs a variety of semi-skilled kitchen/cafeteria related duties as assigned according to level of proficiency and departmental need and in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Dietary Department and the Douglas County Health Center.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation, equivalency, or current high school enrollment preferred. Six months full time work experience as a Food Service Worker Trainee at Douglas County Health Center OR six months* full time work experience involving food preparation and/or food service in an institutional setting (e.g., hospital, nursing home, school, correctional facility, military facility). *Training and/or educational course work in dietary skills applicable for use in an institutional setting may be considered in lieu of work experience.
