PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbent works under the direction of a Bureau Captain or designee, performing clerical and administrative support functions for the efficient operation of the Sheriff's Department.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or the equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice preferred. Two (2) years* clerical experience required. Two (2) year experience in video editing required. One (1) year managing social media for a public or private entity required. Must have or obtain NCIC certification within six (6) months of hire. Two years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment.
Completion of a pre-employment security clearance check. * Approved education beyond high school may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.
