Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  Incumbent works under the direction of the Human Resources Director or designee, performing benefits and compensation related work while following local, state and federal law, labor contracts, Civil Service Policies, and Human Resources Department policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree* from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field of study. Two (2) years* of compensation or benefits administration experience required. Candidates with SPHR or PHR certification preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment. * Approved, related work experience required may be substituted for educational requirements beyond high school on a year-for-year basis.
