Who We Want

Carson Group is looking to add an experienced Digital Campaign Specialist / Marketing Automation Specialist to our Marketing team. In this role, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to build, manage and maintain campaigns that are focused on lead generation, nurturing and conversion. The ideal candidate will have previous experience partnering with stakeholders to understand goals and objectives and translating those needs into marketing automation campaigns. Campaign creation on the Hubspot, Lead Pages & Drip platforms, reporting and analytics will be immediate areas of focus. This team member will also have a key role in evaluating preferred marketing automation platform vendors and build-out of our marketing automation programs. Key responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies and tactics for email outreach, lead nurturing programs, campaign management, lead lifecycle integration with Salesforce, and reporting on lead flow/progress.


What To Expect

  • Work closely with Marketing Directors to develop strategy & execution for marketing automation programs
  • Create and manage nurture/automation campaigns
  • Implement and create new nurture campaigns based on lead behavior
  • Execute campaigns focused on outbound and inbound marketing, nurturing, engagement, and sales enablement
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the entire buyer journey from awareness, comparison to decision stages and how to use that to shape nurture campaigns
  • Measuring campaign performance and analyzing key metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and funnel lead generation accordingly
  • Ability to manage and create event-based nurture campaigns based analysis
  • Make recommendations on new content marketing campaigns based on lead behavior
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to create all relevant components for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
  • Build & execute campaigns in marketing automation platform to include: workflows/buyer journeys, lists, lead scoring, drip emails, landing pages, forms, calls to action (CTAs), free content resources, blog posts, social media
  • Manage prospect, partner and client email blasts for B2B and B2C audiences
  • Marketing automation platform template creation & customization (Themes, Modules, Groups, Logos, Landing pages, Email, Forms, Banner graphics, Page graphics, CTAs, Buttons)
  • Track ROI of all campaigns & initiatives and make recommendations to optimize engagement & results
  • Manage integration of data between marketing automation tools (Hubspot, Lead Pages, Drip, Pardot/Marketing Cloud) and Salesforce CRM system
  • Use set thresholds such as lead & prospect scores, ratings or activity to determine when it’s the right time to reach out to leads & opportunities
  • Take ownership of the marketing database, understanding the lead nurture behavior and moving leads to the right nurture campaigns on a continuous basis
  • Create a database cleansing process for continuously removing and cold and fake leads from the system


What You Need

  • Experience building & executing marketing campaigns for broad audiences
  • Experience managing optimization processes and multi-variant or A/B testing of B2B & B2C campaigns
  • Experience creating nurture and drip marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS as it relates to email, landing page and campaign design implementation
  • Deep understanding of content marketing and marketing automation processes and best practices


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant collaborative creative & marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience with marketing automation platforms: Hubspot, Pardot/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Lead Pages, Drip or similar platforms
  • 2+ years of experience managing integration of marketing automation & CRM systems
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, javascript
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • High attention to detail (and a loathing for typos)
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and manage a wide range of projects simultaneously to a successful result
  • High self-motivation to Get Stuff Done (GSD), while maintaining accuracy & quality
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Command of the processes, tools and techniques within a specific focus such as User Experience, Content Management, Social Media, or Analytics, with general knowledge of other areas
  • Experience collecting, consolidating and validating data from clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, business intelligence tools, multivariate testing analysis, surveys, external partners and other data sources.
  • Can create and present analytics dashboards and reports based on data found
  • Proficiency in the Adobe® Creative Suite® including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign a plus
