<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Administrative Assistant to Kanban Manager

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">As an Administrative Assistant, you will help plan, organize, monitor, and record the progress of our Kanban boards and processes throughout the facility.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the daily administrative tasks in support of the Kanban Manager and Production Teams. This role receives general supervision from the Kanban Manager regarding scheduling, record keeping and controlling inventory. This individual also spends time in manufacturing helping with various tasks.

<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Responsibility:


  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Development and Implementation of all Kanban boards.  Boards must all be standardized, and ensure all necessary paperwork and training associated with specific boards is complete.
    • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Print all labels and paperwork associated with boards, and planning
    • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Manage Kanban Boards and keep all data as current as possible
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Ability to multitask, plan, and organize
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Responsible for reviewing Kanban boards, completing Kanban requests, and providing updates to production team with completed jobs and releases.
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Work closely with the Kanban Manager and Production Teams to troubleshoot any label and paperwork issues
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Take messages and input from production team and communicate/problem solve as needed regarding Kanban boards.


<span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Requirements/Qualifications


  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">High school diploma required
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">At least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Experience with modern production practices and procedures
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Experience with computerized inventory practices, procedures and forms
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Experience with principles, practices and procedures of production record keeping
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Must exhibit a positive attitude, team spirit, cooperation and a willingness to learn
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Strong written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail
  • <span style="font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif">Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Other Requirements

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply knowledge based understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to write in-depth reports and correspondence.
