Position Summary: As our new Electronic Repair Technician, you will apply your technical expertise to repair REI products that are returned to our manufacturing site.

As an Electronic Repair Technician, you must be:

As an Electronic Repair Technician, you will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including audio, video, and surveillance equipment.
  • Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and principles, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.
  • Inform appropriate management and line supervisors of repetitive defects, potential causes of these defects.Top of Form
  • Document activity in Warranty data base and other locations as needed.
  • Assist and train other technical-level employees.

As an Electronic Repair Technician, you must have:

  • Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent work experience in a technical field.
  • Three to five years of proven experience in the electrical/electronic field.
  • Proficient using electronic test equipment and soldering, both SMT and Through-hole.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills of electronic / electrical circuits and equipment.
