Position Summary: As our new Shipping/Warehouse Specialist, you will apply your disciplined work ethic to complete sales orders and maintain an accurate inventory of goods.

As a Shipping/Warehouse Specialist, you must be:

As a Shipping/Warehouse Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare domestic and international orders by processing per customer requirements using RF scanner, capturing serial numbers, labeling, creating shipping documents
  • Pack orders per customer requirements, checking carton contents for accuracy
  • Prepare parcel shipping labels, pallet shipments (LTL), creates Bill of Lading and wraps and labels pallets
  • Slot finished goods in warehouse according to warehouse standards
  • Consolidate/ replenish inventory when picking quantities are low
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and may assist in cycle counting of physical inventory
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment
  • Pull lot samples and verifies dimensions, values, and/or functions against P.O. memos, inspection reports and/or test instructions.
  • Check parts for accuracy of quantity and verification of correct part numbers Top of Form
  • Unpack and examine incoming shipments, checks and records discrepancies as in shortages, overages, damages, wrong product, etc., and communicates with shipper to rectify damages and /or shortages, also communicates with Purchasing Associate of any shortages and/or problems.
  • Accurately label products received and routes items to proper departments and/or locations.
  • Consolidate, replenish and relabel inventory as needed
  • Communicate closely with Supervisor, Purchasing, and/or Engineering.
  • Assist in cycle counting of physical inventory

As a Shipping/Warehouse Specialist, you must have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience required
  • Good communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills with an excellent ability to understand detailed directions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable
  • Willing to work more than 40 hours/week as needed
  • Inventory, order fulfillment, data entry and computer skills will be required
  • Forklift and pallet jack operation experience is required
  • International shipping experience is a major plus
  • MS Office application experience a plus (Excel and Word)
  • Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager a plus
