We are currently seeking a talented Head of Human Resources* to join ACG in Newport Beach, California.
The Head of Human Resources*, reporting directly to the President and CEO and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, will be responsible for developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems and planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR function/department.

Developing and administering HR plans, programs and procedures that relate to company personnel
Contribute and drive execution of day-to-day activities of the HR function to provide HR related services, including Benefits, Global Payroll, Compensation, Employee Relations and Learning & Development
In partnership with the HR, Payroll & Benefits Manager and external provider(s), support payroll administration needs for domestic and international employees
Own and evolve the companys compensation and incentive programs to drive business results and employee experience
Design and recommend changes to benefit plans and programs based on competitor and general best practices, and analyzing cost impact/effectiveness
Design and deliver education and communications for benefit plans and programs and support administration of benefits as needed
Drive the talent strategy in the business through HR counsel, data and judgment to the organizations major strategic decisions
Actively participate and take lead in efforts to improve HR tools and processes driving employee engagement and enablement
Provide employee relations expertise, coaching and guidance for employee related issues, including evaluating and implementing appropriate disciplinary action and corrective action, as necessary
Conduct and investigate employee relation cases and collaborates with internal stakeholders to determine appropriate resolution to solving complex issues
Administer offboarding process and process all employee terminations
Maintains working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Implement required yearly compliance training(s) and additional learning & development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
15+ years of HR related experience including deep knowledge of Payroll and HR functions (recruitment, talent management, etc.)
Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate with managers and employees in a dynamic and customer-centric environment
Experience in strategic planning and implementing strategies, policies and procedures
Knowledge of local and international labor law/regulations including leave administration with interntional experience being a plus.
Previous experience with public and/or high growth companies and multi-state/global businesses
Masters Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
Certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR) preferred.
*Level will be commensurate with experience.
