Job Description

Currently, we are seeking a talented Information Security Program Manager to join the Corporate Division in Newport Beach, CA. The Corporate Division supports the goals and initiatives of all other divisions throughout the company and its subsidiaries. These departments include: Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Corporate Development, Public Affairs, Safety & Security, Legal & Compliance.

This role will be responsible for supporting the Pacific Life Information Security Program, located in Newport Beach, CA. This position will work closely with the CISO organization and stakeholders across the company to establish and manage execution of an ongoing 3-year roadmap that supports the Companys Information Security strategy. The Program Manager will be focused on defining and managing a cohesive set of projects/initiatives to deliver change toward the defined strategy.
This position will report to the Director, Information Risk Governance, who reports to the Companys CISO.

 Program Management - Support the Information Security Program with execution and status reporting of the information security roadmap activities.
 Roadmap management - Create and manage a portfolio of risk based initiatives that align to the Companys strategy and risk appetite.
 Program management - Own the security program roadmap and status reporting on program initiatives and execution based metrics.
 Program communication - Provide presentation materials and lead discussions to align stakeholders across the organization to the roadmap.
 Change management - Provide change management expertise to increase employee adoption and support of each initiative, collaborating with internal change management SMEs as needed.
 Strategy Management - Support the Information Security Program by leading the annual information security strategy refresh (inputs, process, deliverables, and communication).
 Strategy process - Create and manage a repeatable process to update the Information Security Strategy based on regular and ad-hoc inputs.
 Program measurement (Benefits Realization) Define, measure, and report on metrics that demonstrate objectives achieved, including our capability maturity map


7 - 10 years of Project/Program Management experience with the following capabilities (IT experience at a minimum, Security/Risk experience preferred):
 Program Management: Ability to manage work within resource constraints (Scope, Schedule, and Budget)
 Change Management: Ability to identify and model change management techniques suited to each initiative
 Senior Management engagement: Ability to synthesize information for executives to relay the why behind the roadmap and strategy
 Communication: Ability to reach technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization, using varying styles and tone
 Experience: Work experience related to IT programs is essential with preference given to Security and Risk Management backgrounds. Experience within Financial Services firms is preferred.
 Continuous Learning: A solid understanding of current technology capabilities, and a keen interest in staying abreast of emerging technology trends and information security domains.
 B.S. in IT related discipline or similar degree preferable.
 Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, etc.
