Supervisor Licensing & Commissions

Pacific Lifes Retirement Solution Division is looking for a highly motivated, customer and employee focused Supervisor to join our industry-renowned Operations team!

Collectively, our Operations Retail Annuity Processing departments (Licensing and Commissions, New Business, and Inforce Contract Support) work collaboratively to review and process a wide spectrum of retail annuity contract transactions, ranging from producer appointments, contract issuance, and post-issue support.  Teams also initiate contact with clients to resolve outstanding requirements on transaction requests not in good order.  Through service excellence (quality and efficiency of processing, meeting same-day Pacific Promise service level commitments, and leading positive interactions with clients), these teams play an important role in impacting our clients choice to conduct their business through Pacific Life.

Under direction of the department Manager, the RSD Operations Retail Annuity Processing Supervisor is responsible for the daily activities of their assigned department and the training, skill development and performance of staff, with a focus on leading both a stellar customer and employee experience.   The perfect candidate will have experience in the financial services industry, preferably within an Operations environment.

Experience to include:

  • Demonstrated drive and ability to motivate, develop, and direct staff to meet core departmental objectives around accuracy, speed, service quality, professionalism, and skill building
  • Ability to maintain strong organizational skills in a high-volume, fast paced environment under tight deadlines

  • Strong communication skills dealing with a variety of internal and external customers, preferably in the financial services profession
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
College degree and/or equivalent experience preferred

Candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with teams to support department service objectives, working with employees to evolve their professional skills and career objectives, while also looking to personally learn and grow professionally within the organization.
