Description

Home Pride Contractors is currently hiring for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our company. The administrative assistant will provide a positive, professional first impression for our guests, customers and prospective customers. This position is responsible for general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The preferred employee for this position is a college student studying business, marketing, advertising or communications and is seeking summer hours and possible employment long term. You will work 20+ hrs/week with the opportunity for more. You will work with the owner on various aspects of the business, marketing and hone your customer service skills. This is a great opportunity for you to learn and build your career. 

Responsibilities:

  • Professionally answer incoming calls and managing phone coverage during all business hours
  • Receive and route calls through phone system. Supply information to callers, relay messages, and announce visitors
  • Display an enthusiastic yet professional attitude when dealing with customers
  • Direct all calls to appropriate associates
  • Process and distribute mail
  • Manage flow of correspondence
  • Order office supplies
  • Enter leads and track leads in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Manage customer data in CRM
  • Assist with Marketing
  • Process payables
  • Prepare check runs
  • Request and maintain certificates of insurance
  • Request forms for tax exempt jobs
  • Enter job tickets in to accounting software
  • Assist with job costing
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
