Job Description

Glen Haven Home is looking for an experienced LPN to join our team as an overnight charge nurse and assist us in transition from our traditional facility setting to the innovative cottage model of nursing care.  The ideal candidate will value clinical outcomes and possess above average cirtical thinking and clinical skill that will ensure our residents receive the highed level of care.  Charge nurse will be full time working 12 hour shifts. Position Summary: Provides direct nursing care to the residents, supervises day to day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and medication aides to ensure that that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.


Must possess, as a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a LPN in the State of Iowa.
