From our Omaha, Nebraska and Sioux Falls, South Dakota offices, Thompson, Dreessen & Dorner, Inc. (TD2) provides civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering as well as land surveying services. TD2 professionals work on a broad array of projects in partnership with municipal officials, architects, developers, and builders on commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Prepare maps and drawings from survey field data including: plats, site plans, topographic maps, and some engineering plans. Routinely perform typical coordinate geometry calculations such as intersections, curves, inverses, area calculations, etc. Incorporate conventional optical data and static GPS data into projects. Adhere to all drafting standards.
Associates degree with emphasis in Civil drafting. At least 2 years drafting experience required. High degree of proficiency using AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is required. General computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook are also highly beneficial. Topographical drafting experience is required.
