In this position, the Cashier performs cash handling duties related to the daily operation of the cafeteria.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cash Register Operation/Cash Control
- Operates the cash register, ringing up sales and making change.
- Counts cash at the end of the shift and completes all cash related paper work
Food Service Support
- Puts out appropriate signage and maintains condiment and silverware/tray area.
- Completes order sheets to maintain appropriate par levels.
- Demonstrates knowledge of other cafeteria position; relieves other shifts/positions as necessary.
