In support of our recent expansion, Hillcrest Health Services is growing our accounting team with the addition of a Senior Accountant.  The Senior Accountant, under the leadership of the Director of Accounting, is responsible for balance sheet reconciliation, journal entry, financial statement and budget prep and analysis, third party reporting, audit support and other special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate prep of financial information to include supporting general ledger reconciliations
  • Act as a liaison and support the annual budget process from file to prep to upload and implementation
  • Prepares support required for regulatory and financial audit
  • set up and preparation of dashboards and other analytic schedules via data analytic tools (Biznet, Microsoft Excel Charts and Pivot Tables, etc)
  • Support daily cash processes
  • Performs audits of A/P and Payroll
  • Works with vendors to ensure effective and efficient use of accounting software

 Key Requirements:

  • At least five years experience performing general ledger reconciliations, financial statement preparations and review, budget preparation, audit support and general ledger duties
  • Above duties in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field
