Description

Ringwalt & Liesche, a managing general agent/wholesale broker and proud member of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies, has an immediate opening for a Company Business Development Representative. This individual will serve as a marketing representative for owned agency operations within the Midwest/Mountain Region and be responsible for developing new and fostering existing customer relationships in the assigned territory in addition to engaging in field and office underwriting activities.

Other duties include:

• Providing marketing information to agents regarding product opportunities and how to transact business with Ringwalt & Liesche
• Responding to basic inquiries on how to place various Commercial Auto and Property & Casualty insurance products with the company
• Engaging in business development/marketing activities which include identifying and visiting potential and existing customers, attending local conventions, market research, managing the customer/prospect database, creating marketing fliers, updating the website, and sending out e-mail blasts

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent analytical skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

Basic math skills     

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the good faith salary range for this job is $45,000 - $75,000.  This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. This good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state of Colorado, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
