We are seeking an experienced professional to provide quality work and can hit the ground running during peak season and beyond.

Responsibilities may include:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the client financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the client financial accounts.

Maintain compliance with government agencies
Act as the point of contact for external auditors
Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Exceptional attention to detail with perspective along with excellent organizational skills
Prior experience with professional grade tax and accounting software (Wolters Kluwer, Thomson Reuters, CCH Axcess and QuickBooks experience preferred
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
Collaborate with managers on complex tax issues and projects
Adhere to the firm’s written tax practice standards and the firm’s procedures
Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards
Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold IRS standards of conduct
Ability to work weekends
Experience with customer service highly preferred
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills required and experience with Adobe Acrobat is preferred
