The Internal Sales Support (ISS) serves as the backbone of the AG Life team.  ISSs are tasked with providing timely and accurate responses to requests ranging from front end illustrations and marketing materials to application preparation services and form gathering.  ISS must demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail.  Requests must be fulfilled in a manner that accurately addresses what is asked for and does so within stated Service Level Agreement timeframes and adhering to any applicable institutional or customer compliance guidelines.

The ISS person must be organized and demonstrate a flexibility to respond to the varying needs of a wide distribution of customers.  Additionally, the Internal Sales Support person must be able to repeatedly complete and log their activities to provide a consistent work product from the entire team.  The Internal Sales Support person will report directly to the managing Director of the AG Life Team.


  • Work with internal customers to manage a high volume of new illustration and revision requests.
  • Use proprietary and third-party software solutions to produce life insurance illustrations, revisions, and sales presentations that are both timely and accurate.
  • Download and forward marketing materials and necessary forms as requested.
  • Streamline the application process by prefilling applications and noting for signature.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of life insurance product landscape as it pertains to available products, carrier illustration software, marketing resources, sales ideas.  Stay current on the competitive marketplace by participating in educational opportunities, attending webinars, etc.
  • Develop relationships and work with Highland carriers and strategic partners to leverage existing expertise and resources.
  • Actively communicate with internal counterparts to facilitate efficient workflow, backup support, and load balancing.
  • Log all activity - illustrations, calls, meetings, etc. - into CRM system per established HCB guidelines and procedures.
  • Store illustrations in a manner consistent with established protocols maintained throughout the enterprise
  • Life and Health Licenses are required along with Series 6 & 63.  If no licenses, it will be required to obtain the license within 90 days of employment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Additional post-graduate degrees and/or financial certifications (i.e. CLU, ChFC, CFP) are a plus.


  • Previous experience in the life insurance, banking or general agency brokerage is highly desirable. Combined disciplines in the above will take preference.
