Advisor Marketing Strategist and Content Specialist

Advisor Group operates on hybrid work location schedule, so we are seeking candidates willing to work a split schedule between home and the office. Consideration will also be given to applicants seeking 100% remote work from home.
We are seeking a passionate, creative, digitally savvy content marketing strategist, writer, and consultant to fill a key role on our award-winning advisor marketing team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, organized, solution-oriented, idea-generating people-person, someone who can build rapport and inspire confidence easily over the phone or in person, and who understands both the opportunities and challenges financial professionals face in utilizing marketing to achieve their business objectives. The Advisor Marketing Strategist and Content Specialist position will have two main areas of focus: first, developing content strategy and execution for our in-house marketing content platform available exclusively to our financial professionals; and second, helping financial professionals on a consultative and/or executional basis to grow their business through marketing best practices.
Develop and execute content creation strategy for internal marketing platform used by financial professionals
Maintain and grow content library for use of financial professionals, using creative digital marketing best practices to ensure content is unique, meaningful, and relevant to financial services clientele
Manage end-to-end content development process, including intake of content requests from financial professionals, assignments to freelance team, writing, content review and editing for appropriate platform voice, Ad Supervision review and approval, content aging, tracking, etc.
Develop process to evaluate in-market content performance on an ongoing basis to continuously strengthen content offering
Conduct in-person and phone/webinar-based marketing consultations with financial professionals to understand their business needs and help them achieve their objectives using marketing tools available through Advisor Group
Deliver an outstanding, "white glove" customer service experience to our financial professionals while demonstrating deep financial marketing expertise
Educate financial professionals about content marketing, social media marketing, and digital marketing strategy and tactics
Based on learnings and feedback gained from advisor consultations, bring new ideas to the team to improve and enhance our overall marketing platform and offering
Identify and follow trends in digital and content marketing to bring best practices back to team
Regularly collaborate with business lines, marketing teammates, and other key stakeholders on a variety of projects
Deliver a great marketing experience to our advisors -- you will represent our brand and be our advisors' liaison internally for all marketing initiatives
All other duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years' experience writing and/or editing content for use in digital marketing efforts including email and social media
Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B and B2C marketing with focus on client/public-facing communication
Demonstrated results using a consultative approach to identify and implement marketing solutions for a client
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a willingness to try creative approaches to business-building
Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing concepts and principles, including online presence, email marketing, website branding, social media marketing
Strong customer service orientation
Comfort with public speaking and leading education or work-session events
