Advisor Group will return to a hybrid schedule at some point in the future, so we are seeking candidates willing to work a split schedule between home and the office. Consideration will be given to applicants seeking 100% remote work from home.
Summary:
We're searching for an experienced creative director to take the helm of our creative team, guiding an extremely talented team of designers who are known for exceptional creativity. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to the position, promoting our company and that of our valued clients and employees. We are looking for an experienced manager, who can inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the creative department by hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring
Evolve and ensure consistency and integrity behind our company's brand and brand guidelines
Establish department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service
Ensure the team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design
Collaborate with teams in creating marketing plans, aligning team priorities with business objectives to deliver high-quality work
Create and manage the overall design and visual style for websites, ad campaigns, collateral, video and more
Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, content websites, social media, and other marketing materials
Manage a production calendar and the team responsible for hitting those deadlines
Develop overall style and communicate to team
Communicate with clients to develop an artistic approach/style
All other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of leading design, creative, and/or in-house marketing strategy and deliverables
Strong consultative verbal and written communications
Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objective
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Experience interacting with various levels of senior management
Excellent eye for design and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team
Great communicator, both in conveying design best practices and project details/ideas across all levels of the company, including the executive team.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
Experience planning and implementing organizational and department goals
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of basic financial planning practices and terminology
Knowledge of the securities industry practices, procedures, and terminology
