Securities America is currently looking for a Salesforce CRM Administrator. The primary responsibility for this position is to build, maintain, and support an excellent internal CRM system for home office employees. This role will need to be able to manipulate and standardize data, understand user sharing and visibility settings and build native workflow/object components through declarative techniques. Lightning User Interface experience or demonstration of understanding is highly desired. APEX/Visualforce coding skills are not required, but will be considered in the hiring process.

Role & Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Basic Salesforce organization maintenance including but not limited to: Workflow and Approvals, creating/editing Permission Sets, Profiles/Page Layouts & Roles configuration and Group/Queue management
  • Build and deliver custom reports with standard objects, custom objects, combinations of multiple objects, as well as custom report types
  • Strong understanding of data filtering logic and Salesforce field types
  • Understanding of API bulk data handling, CRM management techniques including duplicate matching & elimination, usage of validation rules and APEX Data Loader functions (Insert, Update, Upsert, Export & Delete)
  • Review, configure, and deploy applications and managed packages from the Salesforce AppExchange. Maintain all relevant system and user permissions for excellent user functionality.
  • Assist internal CRM users with ad-hoc needs in a timely and professional manner. Excellent communication with users including telephone follow-up, email communication and interpersonal social skills when meeting face to face.
  • Partner with other departments to proactively support users and solve problems that might arise from system configurations
  • Incorporating organizational mission, vision and shared values to make business decisions
  • Help build a system that is simple, intuitive, robust to function on all browsers and mobile devices (iPhones, iPads and equivalents)
  • Meet all regulatory requirements (FINRA/SEC & others), Information Security standards and promote 100% data governance at every level in the organization
  • Active online membership in the global Salesforce success community through the usage of Ideas, Posts, Questions, Answers, and Groups.
  • Active local membership of the Nebraska User Group (Primarily Administrators in the surrounding Omaha & Lincoln areas) and/or the Nebraska Developer Group. At least quarterly attendance expected to these monthly in-person meetings to learn and contribute with peers.
  • Ability to travel one time each year. Possible attendance at a regional conference (Chicago) or national conference (San Francisco) based on business needs.
  • Establish individual goals as well as CRM platform goals in conjunction with the CRM Administration Team.  Determine appropriate strategies to attain goals and align items with product/service roadmaps.
  • Maintain current knowledge of CRM cloud computing industry trends and developments.
  • Lightning User Interface usage, customization, and Lightning component experience preferred
  • Trailhead badges and ongoing learning history preferred to demonstrate a variety of knowledge in Salesforce products and configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
    OR proven Administrator/Developer experience with official Salesforce.com certifications (Trailhead badges and commitment to ongoing learning will be considered if candidate does not have degree or certifications)
  • Ability to set and meet business goals
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-up with internal users in a timely manner
  • Ability to work normal business hours and occasional evening for technology deployments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill in operating personal computer and standard software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Candidate Preferences

  • WebEx or GoToMeeting experience for offsite user assistance
  • Understanding of Business to Consumer (B2C) business model and associated Salesforce configuration of Person Accounts
  • Third party marketing automation software integration experience
  • Financial Services Industry experience including Banking/Financial Institutions  
  • Knowledge and implementation of Java/JavaScript/HTML coding (not required, coding knowledge can help, but this is primarily a declarative role)
  • Series 7 Financial License (Securities America will pay for this training & testing if desired)
  • Knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules/regulations
  • Knowledge of Securities America products and services
  • Knowledge of the independent broker-dealer market, securities industry and financial terminology
