Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for the administrative and operational activities of product training programs to include the designing, facilitation, deployment and training of program initiatives to increase visibility and revenue.  This position will create, share and update program plans and communicate status to management and work with all stakeholders to articulate program goals, requirements and ensure program adherence.  Other responsibilities include the editing/updating of marketing, promotional, and/or educational materials, integrated reports specific to the program and the implementation of effective operational/administrative policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field is preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Securities Industry Series License 7 and 24 preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of FINRA, SEC and ERISA rules and regulations
  • Experience conducting training sessions and/or presentations
  • Experience managing projects and product roll-outs
  • Experience with creating promotional and/or educations materials
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing statistical data and generating reports
  • Experience in the planning, preparation, and management of program budgets and expenditures
  • Experience with coordinating and organizing meetings and/or special events
  • Advanced writing and editorial skills
  • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
  • Ability to build and maintain professional strategic relationships
  • Ability to build consensus and support for ideas and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 10-15% of the time
  • Skilled in strong, consultative verbal and written communications

Job Duties/Tasks:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Oversee education and training efforts to increase awareness of affiliated company resources for broker dealer home office personnel, specifically to include working closely with recruiting and business development personnel
  • Serve as primary liaison between affiliates and technology and project management resources to assist in implementing objectives that will increase adoption of their services
  • Coordinate and support  the activities outlined in the individual business plans of the affiliate companies
  • Ensures adherence by affiliate companies to program policies and procedures.
  • Manage data intelligence activities designed to assist affiliated companies identify appropriate advisor and client prospects for their services
  • Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program/project records and statistical information
  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns promoting the affiliate companies that would be simultaneously delivered across the broker dealers
  • May perform specialized activities in direct support of the accomplishment of program objectives and protocol.  This may include speaking and/or presenting at conferences or recruiting events.
  • Edit, update, create and oversee implementation of marketing materials for the Ladenburg network of broker dealers to use in support of their affiliated companies.  Materials may include course catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program
