Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform data entry of various commission and/or fee statements on a daily basis. 

Position Requirements:

  • High School degree required
  • One year previous bank/credit/cashiering experience
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ratios
  • Ability to research errors and identify discrepancies
  • Ability to be at work on a regular and predictable basis 
  • Knowledge of general securities industry terminology and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Skilled in operating personal computer and various software packages (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

    Position Duties/Tasks:

    This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  1. Post/Enter commission data and balance/reconcile SAI statements daily
  2. Post/Enter fee data and balance/reconcile SAA statements daily
  3. Contact and work with product sponsors to obtain additional information in order to complete statement processing.
  4. Perform additional duties as assigned to include but not limited to:
    • Assisting in ComProc remedy research case resolution
    • Preparing weekly statement for scanning
    • Identifying and creating ComRes remedy cases re: client edit issues
  5. Cross-train in assigned Commission Processing team member’s responsibilities
  6. Generate reports from MIPS and QWIC
  7. Believe and participate in Quality Improvement Procedures
  8. Update and monitor No Check/ACH information
  9. Conduct risk awareness pertaining to department and enterprise objectives
  10. Evaluate controls and address gaps with manager through department collaboration efforts, enhanced SOP’s, etc.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned
