Talent Management Operations Coordinator

The Talent Management Operations Coordinator supports the Talent Management team in many aspects of employees’ employment cycle. Responsibilities includes department operations support, employee record maintenance, assisting with benefits administration, reconciliations and leave administration.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Support various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  2. Assist employees with general health, dental, life and other related benefit questions. Escalating issues or questions as needed.
  3. Partners with Total Rewards Specialist to complete monthly benefit invoice reconciliation and ensure accurate invoice payments to carriers. Run reports as needed and reconcile to benefit invoices. 
  4. Assists with various open enrollment processes. To include enrollment monitoring, employee communication, and auditing system settings at the conclusion of open enrollment period.
  5. Coordinate various initiatives throughout the year. To include blood drives, membership drives, and special announcements & communication.
  6. Maintains electronic employee files while ensuring both accuracy and confidentiality.
  7. Conduct regular benefit enrollment audits to ensure system accuracy.
  8. Assist with various HRIS system updates including, new hire entry, pay, promotion and status changes, and benefit adjustments.
  9. Administration of gym reimbursement benefit to include processing new requests, making system changes, answering benefit questions and processing annual updates.
  10. Cross train with Payroll Administrator to ensure continuity of payroll responsibilities in the absence of employee and to ensure understanding of the relationship between benefits and payroll.
  11. Assists Talent Management personnel in the preparation and documentation of payroll.
  12. Support Talent Management Team with various administrative tasks and projects.


Experience, Education & Skills


  • 2-4 years of previous experience in a professional, project-oriented role, preferably in Talent Management
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in HR preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.
  • Experience using an integrated HRIS, Ultimate Software experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude and desire for personal learning and growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
  • Ability to effectively work both independently as a contributor and collaboratively in a team with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and initiative.
