Position Summary: The Extended Recovery RN, s responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care to post-operative orthopedic patients requiring extended recovery or overnight care. This role involves monitoring patient conditions, managing pain, preventing complications, encouraging early mobility, preparing patients for their discharge home, and ensuring a safe recovery process. The Extended Recovery nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, nurse navigators, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and maintain safety standards.

Position Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Licensure: Registered Nursing licensed in the State of Nebraska or eligible compact state required.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) to be acquired within 90 days of hire or transfer date required.
Experience: 1+ Years of RN (Registered Nurse) Experience preferred.
