The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all healthcare workers, as well as individuals who interact with healthcare workers in a work setting, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless a medical or religious exemption is approved. At this time, fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment. As a condition of employment, newly hired team members will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or apply for a medical or religious exemption.

Position Details:

  1. Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for total patient engagement through a comprehensive patient access solution.
  2. Facilitates online scheduling functions related to applicable services as outlined within the scheduling department.
  3. Effectively communicates to other departments to provide quality care to patients.
  4. Manages digital customer relations with patients regarding upcoming services.
  5. Serves as an advocate and liaison to providers, patients, and other internal/external customers.
  6. Drives referral capture and conversion by leveraging automated messaging to acquire and retain referred patients.
  7. Provides an exceptional patient and customer experience by managing communication through HIPAA compliant automated and actionable conversations.
  8. Participates in project initiatives to continuously elevate performance and enhance functionality through use cases across the organization.
  9. Other job duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager of the Scheduling Department.
  10. Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and The Joint Commission.
  11. Employee is responsible for all other duties as assigned for which competency has been demonstrated.

Position Requirements:


  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.


  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with working knowledge of scheduling and registration systems preferred
  • Knowledge and competency with technology and digital platforms
  • Experience in customer service and service recovery preferred


  • This position is classified as Sedentary Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (33%-66% of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
