About this Opportunity:

As a SME Premier Trading Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the trading process and the team members on the Trading Subject Matter Expert Team for Orion. This position is responsible for the development and performance of team members, the processes used by them, and holds the team members accountable for their work.In addition, this position will coordinate and execute service level expectations that meet the needs of Orions clients and service team members.As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Review team members work to ensure problems and questions are handled quickly and efficiently

  • Ensure that team is operating efficiently and properly in Salesforce

  • Review and oversee any Salesforce items that need immediate attention, help team members when necessary, and make sure they are getting done on time

  • Assist team members with completion of complex problems

  • Provide training to Orion team members as well as clients when an issue requires

  • Manage employees within department including but not limited to hiring, training and developing employees, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, salary recommendations, coaching and counseling, and administering corrective actions

  • Conduct a monthly team meeting to set goals and priorities for the month and to review progress of goals

  • Coordinate training for new and existing team members

  • Hold One-on-One meetings with each team member to review any questions or concerns the team member may have

  • Oversee the progress of Trading training for the client

  • Work with service teams to ensure processes are followed and function correctly

  • Help develop specialized trading processes for clients with Trading Product Manager

  • Coordinate training for service teams, advisors and team based on deficiencies

  • Coordinate training with Trading Product Manager based on new development items for Trading SME Team, Orion Service teams and clients

  • Ensure internal/external training material is kept up to date and complete

  • Communicate any changes in procedures and train team members of those changes

  • Work with clients on defining and implementing processes

  • Contribute to evaluation, implementation and management of electronic trading platform and assist with projects related to trading system version upgrades

  • Assist in gathering requirements from users and create related project specification documents, which include mathematical calculations, business user interfaces, application of system, etc.

  • Collaborate with programming team in setting prioritization on quarterly build delivery schedules

  • Conduct and participate in quarterly trading system evaluations, including creation of regression test plans (current / future state analysis) for new functionality, and make recommendation of final solutions; perform quality assurance testing of automated solutions and newly developed workflows and other assignments as necessary

  • Participate in periodic disaster recovery testing as it relates to trading related operations

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has ability to act with professionalism and diplomacy when communicating with a customer

  • Has ability to manage, lead, inspire, direct, motivate, and develop a team of employees.

  • Possess leadership skills to provide a positive work environment, which encourages and expects teamwork, motivation, efficiency and maximum utilization of staff skills

  • Has minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field

  • Obtain Orion Industry Certification

  • Has minimum of 5 years of customer services-related or multiple operations team experience required with at least 1 year of experience with Orion

  • Preferably has minimum of 1 year of management/leadership experience

  • Preferably has experience working within financial services industry

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$69,723.00 - $105,276.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
