Our client is seeking a Compliance and Deposit Operations Manager to join their team. The selected individual will be responsible for the seamless operation of the company's day-to-day deposit, account opening, and internal audit activities to mitigate risk to the organization. Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to assist Managers in resolving technical operational questions or concerns. This includes but is not limited to Keystone (Core), Card Products, Reward Products, IRA's, HSA's, ITM's, Business Accounts, Shared Branching, Account Opening, Remote Capture, Mobile and Online Banking.
  • Continually assess product and service delivery and bring forward recommendations.
  • Oversee the production of written resources (i.e., procedures) specific to operations.
  • Partner with Executives and Managers specific to product development, service enhancement, training, risk management, change management, process improvement, procedure development, audit oversight, quality control, budget management, and policy review.
  • Lead defined operational initiatives to include developing and managing a detailed project plan.
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of organizational projects that meet business objectives and that are delivered on-time.
  • Accountable for influencing project team member engagement and collaboration, through internal and external resources.
  • Responsible for carrying out the board's direction, including the implementation of the agency's BSA/AML policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Responsible for FinCEN filings including, but not limited to, CTR's and SAR's.
  • Ensure that the agency is in compliance with defined laws (federal and state) and regulations.
  • Work directly with external auditors and regulators, as appropriate, to advance regulatory and compliance pursuits.
  • Provide auditors and regulators accurate and timely information upon request.
  • Facilitate the delivery of compliance training.
  • Identify, develop, administer, and report on internal audit protocols.
  • Conduct time sensitive investigations of potential internal and external fraud including but not limited to new account fraud, check fraud, online fraud, forgery, theft, identity theft, and elder abuse. Manage fraud cases and losses.
  • Provide fraud prevention training and resources (i.e., policy, procedures, etc.).
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Certified Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist designation highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union Law and Regulations.
  • Knowledge of the sound practice of business administration.
  • Knowledgeable of electronic banking equipment, video security systems, electronic fund transfer technology, office automation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, products, and services in a financial services environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate positive, professional, and engaging communication skills.
