Vice President of Human Resources

We are partnering with one of our favorite clients on a search for a Vice President of Human Resources.  This role will be responsible for directing and overseeing the activities of the Human Resource Department including hiring, benefits and compensations administrations, employee and labor relations, training and onboarding programs, regulatory compliance and employee needs and workforce trends analysis.  This is an exciting time for someone who thrives in a fabulous culture and awesome team environment.   If you are seeking to utilize your expertise to make a difference, this opportunity is for you!  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor emerging trends, risks and business opportunities
  • Contribute to public relations and community involvement initiatives  
  • Lead and coach staff to optimize performance success
  • Facilitate employee relations to ensure high level of engagement
  • Manage corporate risk relative to employment practices and benefits management
  • Define policies for Board approval and approve corporate procedures
  • Develop and manage business unit goals, operating plan and annual budget
  • Manage staff, resource, procedures and task to ensure effective execution of plans
  • Develop, implement and manage processes and procedures
  • Identify and develop necessary relationships with employees, vendors and other parties
  • Provide Human Resources expertise to the organization and other functional areas


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field
  • Must have at least seven years of Human Resources experiences demonstrating progressively greater responsibilities in hiring, benefits and compensation administration, employee and labor relations, training and regulatory compliance.
  • Must have at least a PHR certification
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with staff, vendors volunteers, financial institution’s, federal and state regulators, legal counsel, federal examiners, auditors, community leaders and other business contacts
  • Must be able to effectively lead and manage others
  • Must be able to effectively present information and concepts to groups of various sizes
  • Must be knowledgeable in BSA and compliance requirements
  • Must be bondable
