Job Posting: SEM Marketing Manager, Proxibid

As the SEM Marketing Manager you will plan, implement, and maintain multimedia campaigns all while paying attention to the details. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and enjoys implementing new technologies to drive results. You will be an integral part of the Marketing team and will be executing work tied directly to company goals. Focus on growth and expansion across all Search platforms tied directly to company KPIs are key for this position.

We will look to you for thought leadership within the company and new innovations to the industry.  You understand that automation is your friend and not the enemy. People follow your lead, because you’re going the right direction.  The SEM Marketing Manager will work directly with other key team members across Proxibid to make sure execution of plans are performed at the highest level to drive results.

Job Functions:

  • Gather research data and create and optimize multiple SEM campaigns including competitive monitoring, keyword research, and text ad creative
  • Keyword generation and tracking
  • Build out an LPO strategy to support all SEM goals
  • A/B multivariate testing of all campaigns
  • Budget tracking and optimization
  • Coordinate implementation of tracking and tags using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and internal data
  • Launch campaigns, provide Q&A and troubleshoot all technical issues
  • Handle daily campaign maintenance including questions regarding creative, tracking, and campaign delivery 
  • SEO management and analysis including keyword development, link building, and best practices
  • Hands on experience with online marketing tools and practices
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
  • Work with the analytics teams on a campaign-by-campaign basis (reporting, strategizing, etc)
  • Integrate and set up data and product feeds
  • Implement automation and look for solutions to remove keystrokes from daily tasks
  • Build out PLA program, including product data feed set up
  • Review, audit, integrate, and manage vendor relationships
  • Experience with Comparison Search Engine Management
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to develop quarterly marketing calendars across all channels
  • Pull data for and consolidate a wide variety of marketing reports
  • Experience communicating with executives and senior management
  • Guide the team on the latest algorithm updates, industry trends, and news
  • Leverage Google Analytics/Webmaster tools data to drive strategic decisions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of related experience is required
  • Experience building out and managing campaigns in Google and Bing
  • Excellent computer skills, including expertise with Office suites, web navigation, CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), and online conferencing software
  • Knowledge of SEMRush, Google Analytics, and Google Platform Certification a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with ROAS, ROI, CTR, and additional top KPIs
