Job Posting: Content Development Manager, Proxibid

The Content Development Manager is a driven and tech savvy individual who will leverage current trends and technologies for content development and distribution of stories that inspire and drive demand with our external audience to achieve our business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial mindset, a foundation in digital content development, is detail-oriented, analytical, creative, and enjoys stretching their imagination to implement solutions to drive results. Focus on content creation and distribution across multiple channels, video production skills, and social media management expertise are key for this position.

As the Content Development Manager, you will research, develop, plan, implement, and maintain content strategies and campaigns, all while paying attention to the details. You will be an integral part of the Communications team and will be executing work tied directly to company goals and KPIs. We will look to you for thought leadership within the company and new innovations to the industry.  You have leadership skills and a proven track-record of aligning content strategy to strategic business goals. The Content Development Manager will work directly with other key team members across Proxibid to ensure plans are executed to perform at the highest level to drive results.

Job Functions:

  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrable enterprise results
  • Experience with API, SDK, and third-party integrations of content data
  • Experience managing software projects, product marketing, and fundamentals of Agile Software development processes.
  • Experience with streaming video projects, including planning, production and ROI
  • Knowledge of machine learning technologies and application to emerging strategies of content creation and distribution, including testing and reporting methodologies
  • Plan and manage content development and distribution across social, blogs, website and other channels
  • Implement best practices for content development and distribution
  • Investigate and introduce new technologies or methods for content delivery to drive aggressive engagement
  • Develop and implement editorial calendar across all channels and manage content creation to ensure alignment with content strategy, company key messages, and tone
  • Develop and launch content campaigns that build on Proxibid’s value proposition
  • Align with cross-functional stakeholders (sales, account management, marketing, etc.) to ensure content can be leveraged effectively across all global integrated marketing campaigns
  • Execute content campaigns, provide Q&A, and troubleshoot all technical issues
  • Manage execution of video content that illustrates Proxibid’s vision and mission to a global audience
  • Handle daily campaign maintenance including questions regarding creative, tracking, and campaign delivery 
  • Work with the team to help brainstorm and execute new growth strategies
  • Hands on experience with content management tools and practices
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content management and delivery
  • Proactively identify business challenges and propose solutions
  • Pull data for and consolidate a wide variety of reports
  • Experience communicating with executives and senior management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • HTML and CSS knowledge required
  • Exceptional storytelling skills and keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience organizing content around strategic initiatives
  • Fluency in media publishing tools and experience with PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to build creative solutions to drive results
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company in an articulate, professional manner
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple outlets of information
  • Must possess a flexible, positive disposition and respond well to high-pressure situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing tasks and paying great attention to details
  • Effectively manages time to ensure needs are met and productivity is maximized
  • Must be a driven problem solver and a creative thinker
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team and maintain a positive attitude under all circumstances to foster a positive team environment
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Experience in scaling content creation and distribution
  • Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative, and leadership
  • Passion for technology and cutting-edge industry trends

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years or equivalent related experience required
  • Excellent computer skills, including expertise with Office suites, web navigation, CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), and online conferencing software
