Job Posting: Customer Support Professional, Proxibid

We are looking for someone who can provide support and customer service to Proxibid’s buyers and sellers. This role is responsible for ensuring the success of clients’ online experience by answering inbound calls and emails to ensure the clients’ issues are resolved – sometimes handling complex customer issues, conflict resolution, and eliminating roadblocks for Proxibid’s customers.

Customer Support Professionals are responsible for recognizing opportunities to offer additional assistance or product enhancements.  Additionally, this role will interact with clients and other departments to provide information in response to inquiries regarding Proxibid’s website, user accounts, and services offered. Schedules are to be determined, the range could be anywhere between 7:00am – 10:00pm CST, Monday – Sunday with 40 hours minimum per week.

Your Role:

  • Constant desire to provide superior customer experience by promptly responding to client inquiries
  • Ability to listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate and accurate solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, low structure environment
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve customer issues through available resources 
  • Ability to train clients to be self-sufficient in utilizing Proxibid's website and online tools
  • Ability to be flexible and tolerant with changes including schedule changes
  • Enthusiasm to make courtesy calls/reminders to auction companies when important updates must be communicated
  • A drive to be self-motivated and a detail orientated professional
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED and preferably 2 years of college courses
  • Knowledge of Proxibid’s auction software and website navigation (a plus)
  • Excellent computer skills, including expertise with Office suites, web navigation, CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), and online conferencing software
