Seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst to join a team of performance driven professionals.  


Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and executing software test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures in order to identify software problems and capture the sequence of events. The QA/QC Analyst works closely in an Agile development team environment, participates in system maintenance and interacts with department business units, external users and vendors
  • Understands business processes
  • Communicate design to all stakeholders and act as the liaison between business unit business analysts, developers and project management groups
  • Delivers clear and regular communication (written and verbal) to ensure development teams and stakeholders are kept up to date with work status, test plans, test cases, defects, bugs and resolution of issues
  • Participates in research, process flow analysis, internal assessments and audits
  • Creates, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures to attain quality software economically and efficiently
  • Create Quality Plans for technology projects and assess current processes for Quality Assurance opportunities
  • Perform regression testing on all software products for every iteration and/or release
  • Present test results to the project teams and business/IT leaders
  • Document and maintain test plans and acceptance criteria in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Document software defects using TFS and report defects to project managers, developers and others
  • Focuses on deadlines and deliverables & ensure the ability to find defects and bugs quickly
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track results
  • Work in an Agile development environment and have knowledge of waterfall development methodologies
  • Lead effort to educate and assist end users in testing and capturing results in an organized manner
  • Performance testing as required to ensure application speed, scalability and stability is as expected
  • Security testing to ensure application conforms to NITC standards
  • Track change requests in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Support all quality assurance activities to meet quality goals
  • Ensure releases are “Production Ready”


The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technical degree in Computer Science/Software Development/Project Management (or equivalent combination of education and minimum 5+ year’s web/software QA/QC experience). 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Quality Management software and processes
  • 2 years of Web Application testing experience
  • 2-3 years of Agile experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with MS Office; Word, Access, Excel, VISIO, SharePoint
  • Must have excellent relationship building, leadership and client management skills
  • Experience in a large team interacting with a wide range of partners (business and technical)



  • 2+ years of Relational Database w/SQL experience
  • 1+ year of Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience
  • Azure DevOps (VSTS) experience
  • Ability to automate test plans to include in the regression test suite
