Mid-level C#.NET Developer  Lincoln, NE

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Program on Microsoft .NET frameworks using C#.NET, LINQ, Visual Studio 2008/2013/2017, AJAX
  • Develop ASP.NET MVC applications with C# code behind for authentication, registration, and documents upload and approval system
  • Use HTML and CSS, client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks (JQuery)
  • Client and server side validations using JavaScript and Validation Controls and performing tasks related to Database issues
  • RDBMS and write SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Communicate orally and in writing with agency staff and the public
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Understand, interpret, and apply rules, administrative policies, and program guidelines
  • Design, development, and deployment of interfaces for load testing and in a production environment

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems and 2 years of experience in programming. Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position

KNOWLEDGE:

  • The entire software development lifecycle
  • Application Servers and Web Frameworks such as IIS
  • Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC, C# with a solid understanding of their ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
  • NUnit testing and unit testing used for test cases
  • Version control or source code management (TFS or GIT)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Formats used in written business communications
  • English grammar, spelling, and composition needed for correspondence
  • Computer software necessary to carry out job responsibilities
  • Types and uses of office equipment
  • Office management principles, methods, and procedures
  • Established policies, procedures, practices of State Department of Education

 

Desired:

  • Experience with C#, JSON, Web API, RESTful, and SOAP Web Service implementations
  • Responsive Web Design, Telerik UI for ASP.Net MVC
  • Experience in NUnit

 

Additional Information:

  • Start Date: ASAP
