ESI is looking for a highly organized Data Management Specialist to support the company’s flow of data from the lab to customers and presentations at conferences.

The ideal candidate must be organized, flexible and able to work alongside a diverse group of employees. The candidate should be able to take a data set and create excel sheets, graphs or PowerPoints in order to present the information in a reader-friendly display. The ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced fluid environment is also critical to this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze & organize data
Assemble, sort and reduce large data sets in Excel
Summarize data sets graphically and in tabular formats
Organize data in PowerPoint
Interact with Chemists to assimilate their data
Coordinate & collaborate with various levels of staff to complete comprehensive materials
Transform Excel data into a PowerPoint and prepare for presentations
Ability to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

Very strong Excel skills
Background in Statistics and Math
Organizational and visual skills
Interpersonal skills
Flexible
General knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and project goals
