Responsibilities include:

In this position, you will be maintaining, installing and repairing various types of flooring materials as needed, including but not limited to carpet, tile, wood and stone. Salary is based on experience.

• Install, maintain and repair various types of flooring such as carpet, ceramic / porcelain tile, VCT, wood, laminate, and stone.
• Maintain an inventory of materials and tools needed to perform repairs and installations of the different flooring systems.
• Must be able to recommend and perform various preventative maintenance steps needed on the various flooring surfaces as required.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
• Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.

• Must have knowledge and experience installing, repairing and maintaining various flooring systems such as carpet, ceramic/porcelain tile, VCT, wood, laminate and stone.
• Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Must have the ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have the ability to work as a team or on your own.
• Highly organized and detailed.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
• Must have 3 years commercial flooring experience.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
