An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Up to $1500 Sign on Bonus

Provides excellent customer service to internal and external guests.
Greets others on property in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guests in contact with appropriate person for assistance.
Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Ameristar Housekeeping Manual.
Able to perform all duties associated with Guest Room Attendants
Adheres to safe handling of all chemicals.
Reports any safety issues to Housekeeping leadership.
Is compliant with uniform and appearance standards while on duty.
Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.
Follows the established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
Maintains linen and guest supplies in the linen storage areas.
Responsible for cleaning the hotel public areas.
Replenishes linen and guest supplies in the housekeeping closets.
Collects used linen from the housekeeping room attendant carts and transports linen to the closet.
Empty trash daily.
Assist with housekeeping requests as needed.
Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate authority.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

- Must have strong customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.
