Maintain the orderly and efficient operation of the F&B department through the performance of office duties and assistance to the F&B Director, Assistant F&B Director, and Executive Chef. Assistance is also provided to other direct reports to the Director as time permits after completing duties described in this job description. This is a non uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with non uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to data entry, calendar maintenance, copying, and filing as directed by the F & B Executive Team.
Perform weekly supply inventories and requisition the minimum amount of supplies required to keep the office running and maintain the F&B Administration Department checkbook.
Take and distribute meeting minutes for all Food and Beverage meetings and any other meetings as requested
Monitor and maintain salaried team member coaching summaries and files weekly.
Utilize HR Database to assist F&B Management Team with Team Member data; prepare applicable reports and related correspondence
Maintain the morale of the department through open communication and teamwork by deploying targeted communication strategies that inform and build support
Work with all departments to improve both the Guest and Team Member experience
Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Standards of Conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, and sanitation
High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute; some college preferred
Must have three (3) years experience in the clerical field
Some food and beverage experience preferred
Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills and strong time management skills.
Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Fully Competent in Microsoft Office
Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments
Ability to interpret and explain company policies and procedures to others
Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies
