Maintain AAA Four Diamond requirements and standards.
Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in department training guidelines
Assist with developing the inspection program for all guest rooms and housekeeping responsible areas.
Ensure all cleanliness and room condition requirements are met on a daily basis.
Examine guest rooms prior to guest arrival and conduct inspections upon guest departure.
Assure hotel staff that unoccupied guest rooms are ready for guests.
Inventory supplies for department
Fills all reasonable guest requests, and follows up on guest complaints to ensure AAA Four Diamond standards are met.
Ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
Manage/Control supplies and inventory in the department.
Develop and conduct the approved departmental training program to ensure all Team Members are properly trained to their assigned task with a concentration on guest room standards
Adheres to the approved preventative maintenance program on guest rooms and guest areas.
Ensures every room is inspected everyday.
Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
Address Team Member questions and concerns.
Fosters and maintains positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interfaces with other departments to ensure a harmonious working relationship.
Continue professional development of self
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
Conduct and attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.
Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school education or equivalent required.
Three to four years of hotel housekeeping experience or related field.
