    Description

    Responsible for overall coordination, direction and leadership of the clinic staff in the Outpatient Clinic. Demonstrates leadership and ability to assign, direct, delegate and empower duties to the staff.  Coordinates schedules with numerous providers. Responsible for all policies, procedures and protocols for the clinic.  Must be able to assess evaluate and respond to acute issues in a timely competent manner. Able to work a variety of clinics and assist provider with minor surgical procedures and exams. Communicates with provider contact person to resolve concerns or improve clinic functions. Responsible for interviewing and orientation of new staff. Maintains departmental communication through monthly staff meetings and rounding. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa.  Current BLS certification required.  At least two years of RN experience required.  Previous experience in a clinical setting required. Supervisory experience preferred. Self-reliant, able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to new situations and changing systems.
