|Salary and Benefits||This position is in Salary Grade 622, with a minimum salary of $70,547. The successful candidateÃ¢Â?Â?s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

|General Description||Northeast Community College, a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Community College located in Norfolk, NE is seeking an analytical and independent individual with leadership experience to fill the position of Director of Accounting Services.
The purpose of this position is to provide oversight and management of the financial records for the College, the Foundation and the Facilities Corporation. This is accomplished by overseeing accounting and business functions of the College; maintaining accounting systems and procedures; providing oversight for the preparation of financial reports; supervising Accounting Services department staff; overseeing grant and contract accounting, managing the fixed assets system; overseeing the Foundation and Facility Corporation accounting functions; maintaining awareness of local, state and federal laws and regulations relative to business and accounting functions; and exchanging pertinent information with vice presidents, deans, department heads, staff and students.|
|Qualifications: Education||BachelorÃ¢Â?Â?s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration â?? Accounting.
Masterâ??s degree preferred.|
|Qualification:Experience||Requires three to five years of progressively responsible accounting experience in business, government or postsecondary education. Supervisory experience is required.|
|Qualification:Skills||Requires working knowledge of GASB and FASB accounting standards; CPA license preferred; prior experience with fiscal aspects of federal grant compliance preferred; Requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a demonstrated proficiency in technology related skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.|
