IT Intern, Cybersecurity

THE INTERPUBLIC GROUP OF COMPANIES (IPG), one of the world s largest organizations of advertising agencies and marketing services companies, is seeking Interns to join our IPG IT team. IPG IT provides foundational information technology services to IPG. IPG IT is the IPG Global Community that gains process efficiencies and cost savings by sharing the following common IT services:

• Enterprise Service Desk
• Hosting
• Messaging
• Network
• Applications Support

This intern position is located in Omaha, NE and requires a year or longer internship. 

WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES DOES IPG IT PROVIDE?

• The Enterprise Service Desk: Provides technical support and escalation for many IPG operating companies and sites.
• Hosting: Four enterprise data centers and the Managed Hosting Services team supply and maintain the core hosting equipment that supports IPG s business.
• Global Messaging Services: Provides a global messaging platform consisting of user-friendly e-mail services, active directory, and mobile communication devices.
• Global Network Services: Centrally supports and manages the global data and voice services for the organization.
• Application Support: Provides support for a variety of business applications

The current opening will support the SAP application team with system analysis and functional maintenance of SAP client systems including RANGE, Remedy, and Ariba.

INTERNSHIP PREREQUISITES:

• Freshman, Sophomore or Junior Standing
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• At least 18 years of age
• Computer Science, MIS, or some other technical major
• Must successfully complete IPG Background Investigation and Reference Checks
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for other than practical training

The rate for this position is $16.00/ hour. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid this amount will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicants background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
