Job Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will ensure a memorable customer service experience by using active listening and question-asking skills to determine the customer’s needs and help them resolve issues relating to enrollment, coverage and billing.

Specific duties for this role include:

  • Answering customer requests or inquiries

  • Providing resources and self-service options to the member

  • Identifying and resolving customers’ issues using problem-solving skills

  • Continually maintaining a working knowledge of our clients’ products and the healthcare industry

  • Putting the customer first and remaining polite and professional at all times

Job Requirements

We are looking for Call Center Representatives with a genuine hunger to succeed paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Don’t worry if you don’t have the experience, we will teach entry level candidates the skills needed for success.

Additional requirements for this Healthcare Customer Service role include:

  • Goal oriented

  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and follow through

  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software

  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in a growing organization

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a love for hard work

  • Previous insurance related or healthcare experience a plus

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Background and/or drug test may be required
