Be Inspired By the Work You Do

If you want to change the world, one patient at a time, we'd love you to consider joining our team.

OneWorld Community Health Centers is a growing Omaha-based organization that employs over 500 people while still retaining a true family feel.  Out of 1,400+ Community Health Centers nationwide, OneWorld ranks within the top 2% in terms of clinical outcomes.  It takes all of us, with our various talents and positions, to achieve results like this.  Our employees are united by a desire to help the community, and it shows.

We are looking for a dedicated Pediatrician (MD or DO) to help us achieve our goal of providing excellent healthcare to underserved populations.

As a pediatric provider at OneWorld, you will have the opportunity to provide high quality, family-centered care to children in a cross-cultural setting.  You'll work with an interdisciplinary, integrated team that includes Behavioral Health Therapists, Social Workers, and Clinical Pharmacists.  You'll be involved in strategic planning and quality improvement, and you'll have teaching opportunities with our medical students and on-site residency programs.  Our EHR system has in-house technical support with provider-driven enhancements.  Our pediatric providers do inpatient newborn rounds that rotate through a team of nine, and they have light phone call duty with nurse screening and triage.

This is a full-time position located on our main campus in South Omaha.  The schedule will be 40 hours per week, generally 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with the potential for one evening clinic per week to 7pm.

- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree required.

- Completion of an approved residency program in medicine required.

- Board certification, or board eligibility, required.

- License to practice medicine in the state of Nebraska, or license eligibility, required.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.  (Our providers must be able to conduct an office visit in Spanish, at an intermediate level at least, without the use of an interpreter.)

Our providers are eligible for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps.

OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. provides a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance; Tuition Reimbursement; 401(k); onsite daycare; free fitness center and more.  If you want to apply your unique skillset to a diverse, caring, growing nonprofit that serves 45,000+ patients, please apply.

You can make a difference in your life and the lives of others.
